Self-service users can clone Task Lists from either the current project or previous projects.

Cloning a task list duplicates the entire Task List, allowing you to edit it as needed.

All types of Task Lists can be duplicated.

For full instructions on setting up your first task list, please refer to: In-The-Moment Projects

How to clone an existing task list

1. Create a Target Group: Ensure you have created a target group that will have access to the Task List.

2. Add a Task List:

Insert Task List Name: When choosing the name of your task list, keep it short, simple, unique.

If using different task lists for each target group created, we recommend naming the task list the same as the target group.

Then choose 'Clone and existing Task List'.

3. Select a Task List to clone: Preview and select the Task List to clone by first selecting the project and then the target.

Click 'Next' and select the Target Group who should be assigned the new task list; then click 'Save':

Considerations when cloning based on task list type

1. Scheduled or Sequential Task Lists: If you clone a Scheduled or Sequential Task List with scheduled tasks/ task with a 'No sooner than' date, you must edit each task to confirm the dates are correct.

Once all dates are updated and no longer highlighted in red, your Task List will be complete, and you can onboard your respondents.

2. Task Lists with Ratings cloned to a Target Group without Ratings enabled: If you clone a Task List that includes ratings but your target group settings do not have ratings enabled, the ratings will not be cloned.

3. Task Lists without Ratings cloned to a Target Group with Ratings enabled: If you clone a Task List without ratings but your target has ratings enabled, a default ratings scale will be applied. Y

ou will need to edit the scale and each task to enable the ratings.
