Orientation Considerations
The reel's orientation—Landscape or Portrait—is automatically determined by the format of the first clip added.
To manually set your preferred orientation before adding clips, create a new reel from the Reels tab (see below).
Add Slides
In the Reels Editor, you can insert slides between video clips to enhance your Highlight Reel.
To add a slide:
- Click Add Slide.
- Customize the background color, text content, and duration (default: 3 seconds).
- Click Save to include the slide in your reel.
Move Clips and Slides
Reorder your clips and slides using the up/down arrows on the left side of each item. Simply click an arrow to move the selected clip or slide to a new position in your reel.
Add Thumbnails and Reel Description
Thumbnail:
Upload a PNG file as a custom thumbnail to personalize your Highlight Reel. Ensure the image meets the following requirements:
- Format: .png
- File size: Less than 20MB
- Dimensions: 16:9 (Landscape) or 9:16 (Portrait)
Reel Description:
Add a description for your reel. This will be visible to Moderators and Observers when you share it.
Preview & Edit Reels
Before finalizing, use the Preview option to review your Highlight Reel.
- Clips and slides will play in sequence, allowing you to check the narrative flow.
- Make any necessary edits to ensure smooth transitions and clarity.
Render Reel
Once you're satisfied with your reel, click Render to generate the final version.
- Rendering includes video transcription for all video segments.
- The reel will become visible to all Moderators linked to your project under Shared Reels.
Share Reel
Once a video is rendered, the Reel Owner can click on ‘Share’ and it will be shared with all Observers linked to this project.
- Observers can filter by project or search by Reel name to find it
- They will have view only access - they will see the Reel and transcript.
Un-Share, Re-Render, Re-Share Reel
To make further edits to your Reel, you must first un-share it.
- Un-sharing removes the Reel from Observers, but Moderators will still have access.
- Once un-shared, you can make edits and then Render the updated version.
- The newly rendered Reel will be visible to Moderators automatically.
- To restore access for Observers, you must re-share the Reel.
