Enabling Live Interviews in Your Project
To enable Live Interviews:
- Go to Manage Projects.
- Click Edit Project on your project card.
- In the left navigation, select a Target Group.
- In Target Group settings, tick the 'Live Interviews' check box.
- Repeat for each target group you want to include.
⚠️ Note: Participants do not see the Live Interviews button until you invite them.
Inviting Participants
Once participants are registered:
- Open the Interviews tab.
- Filter to your project.
- You’ll see each target group and participant, with their Registration status:
- Not Registered → Interview option disabled.
- Registered → You can now select Enable Interview.
Click Enable Interview for a chosen participant.
What happens next:
The participant receives an automatic email informing them they’ve been selected.
- A “Join Interview” button appears in their Indeemo app.
- You must contact them separately to agree on a time (Indeemo does not schedule interviews).
Running the Interview
At the agreed date/time:
- Participant: Opens the Indeemo app (or web.indeemo.com) → goes to Task List → taps Join Interview.
- Moderator: From the dashboard, go to Interviews tab → click Join Interview.
⚠️ Do not share your moderator join link: It will not work for participants
Recording the Interview
Important: You must manually click the Record button when the meeting starts.
- Only moderators have the record button.
- If you don’t click record, no footage is saved.
- When finished, click the 'X' and End Meeting for All. Recording stops automatically.
After the Interview
Provided you started the recording:
On the Interviews tab, the status changes from Loading -> Processing Recording -> Uploading Recording -> Watch Interview button appears.
- The file uploads to your project in the dashboard under the 'Live Interview' task.
- You can prompt on the interview via AI View.
Key Notes & Limitations
- One-to-one only (no group calls yet!).
- Moderators can screen share, but respondents cannot yet (planned in future release).
- The “Join Interview” task always appears in the participant’s Task List once enabled, regardless of task sequence.
