Create your Project
Click 'Manage Projects'
- Click '+ New Project' button
- Choose "In-The-Moment Projects"

Project Details
These details are visible on the Dashboard for you and your colleagues but are NOT visible to the Respondents.

Customised Respondent Registration Page
Mandatory for the following recruitment methods:
- Recruit via Indeemo's Panel'
- 'Recruit my own Users/ Customers'

- Click 'Enable'.
- Add a short but descriptive Welcome message.
- Add a logo or image (optional).
- Click 'Save'.
This is on a project level and so every target group will see this same Welcome message, in the language you added it. |

Target Groups
- Recommended: 1-4 target groups per project.
- Segment respondents by a key attribute (e.g., gender, demographics, or persona).
- Use Indeemo's 'Alias' option to assign further attributes to respondents after the project starts.

Respondent Considerations:
- All respondents within a group see the same Task List.
- A respondent can only be in one target group.
Task List Considerations:
- Multiple Target Groups can be connected to the same task list
Each Target Group can have a separate task list
Target Group Name
This is not visible to Respondents.
Language
Select the language to ensure accurate transcription of videos and screen recordings.
Schedule fieldwork
Add your Target Group Start/ End date and time.
- Start date
- Edit any time before respondents are added/ invited.
- End date
- Edit at any time (before existing end date is reached).
Target Group options
Enable by clicking the check box next to each as required.

Task Lists
What is a Task List? A Task List organizes the activities or instructions for respondents.
Key Rule: Each task list must be edited individually when using multiple task lists. A Task List has the following structure:

Insert Task List Name
If you are using more than one task list, name each task list according to the Target Group it will be connected to.
Select a Task List type

Cannot be changed once project is created.

Add Tasks
Click 'Click here to add your first Task' to begin.
Task Title
Add your task title.
- Short, descriptive title, e.g., “1. Intro selfie video,” “2. Daily diary task,” or “3. In-store shopping video.”
- Number tasks for easy navigation.

If Ratings are enabled:
- Enable ratings for a task via the checkbox on the task
- Include context instructions for using the ratings scale to ensure accuracy.
- Do not modify this setting once respondents start uploading.
Required Response
Types of uploads respondents can submit:

- All-at-Once/Scheduled
- Specify responses like “1 video” or “1 video per moment.”
- Sequential Tasks
- Use step-by-step instructions for clear progression.

Scheduled Task List
- Start Date/Time
- Controls when tasks are released (local time for respondents).
- End Date/Time
- We recommend leaving this blank initially to keep tasks open for project duration.
- You can add an end date later if needed to close the task for respondents.
Sequential task list
- Choose the conditions of how/when the task is released:
- Immediately
- Tasks appear immediately after the previous task is completed (per the defined required response).
- No Sooner Than
- Tasks appear only after the previous one is completed and the set date/time has passed.
Adding more tasks
2 options:
Option 1:
- Click '+Add New Task' until you have added all of your tasks.
Option 2:
- Click '+ Insert Task here' to add a task between existing tasks
Move a Task
- Use the 'Up/ Down' Arrows to move a task.
Tasks must be added in chronological order - if an error appears, change your task start date to ensure it falls after the previous task. |
Completion Message
Add a thank-you message for participants and explain what happens next.
- Include a selfie video for a personal touch, if desired.
When it appears:
- All-at-Once Tasks
- After registration and login.
- Scheduled Tasks
- Set to the evening of the final fieldwork day.
- Sequential Tasks
- After completing the final task.
Add more Task Lists
- Click the '+' button next to 'Task Lists' in the Main Menu on the left.
- You can choose 'New' or 'Clone'.
- Follow the above steps.
Clone a Task List

'Clone' allows you to copy an existing Task List, and then make needed edits to the new version.
Remember to:
- Rename this new Task List.
- Edit dates and tasks are required.
Each Task List must be edited separately when making changes.
Unable to Add Task ListsIf the "+" button is greyed out and you therefore cannot create a new Task List, there are two possible reasons: 1. Your Previous Task List is Not CompleteA Completion Message is required to mark a Task List as complete. To resolve this:
2. A Target Group (New or Existing) is Not AvailableTo add another Task List, a Target Group must be available and not already connected to another Task List. Option 1: Use an Existing Target GroupIf you want to connect an existing Target Group, you need to disconnect it from its current Task List. Here’s how:

Edit a Task List
After a project has been created, you can revisit your Task List to make final edits.
- Click on' Manage Projects'.
- Find the project card
- Click Edit Project/ Pencil Icon on that card
- On the left navigation menu, click on the Task List you wish to edit
The task list will be highlighted in pink once selected.
5. Follow the above steps to add more tasks, or click 'Edit' on the part you wish to edit.
6. Click 'Save'.
