Bulk Media Export
The Bulk Media Export is a bulk export of all media (photos, videos, screen recordings) from your project.
Only the Project Owner can request the Media Export.
This is only available when fieldwork is over.
- Click on Manage Projects on your Indeemo Dashboard.
- Click on "..." on your project card.
- Click on Export media, then select your target groups. Click on Request Export.
- You will receive an email with the zip files organised by respondent (this can take a few hours to generate).
- Ensure to download each zip file, and then unzip the files.
- IMPORTANT! These links will remain active for 14 days.
What does the bulk media export look like?
The bulk media export consists of a series of downloadable links.
Usually one to two links per respondent, though occasionally there may be three (max 2GB of data per link).
Each link allows you to download a ZIP file.
- The links are organised by respondent, each link is named (first name, initial of last name).
- Once downloaded, each Zip file is named (Target group_respondent first name_ last name initial_ respondentID)
- Then, each file (media file) within the folder is named (task name_responseID)
The response ID can then also be found in the Dashboard Excel file (column R) to allow you to cross reference the data as needed.
Video Import Projects
Bulk Media Export for Video Import projects works similarly and includes:
A set of media download links ( typically one-two per respondent)
Dashboard: Excel Export
The Excel export includes all text content relating to respondent uploads, and it also includes the an individual download media link for each photo, video and screen recording.
- On the Dashboard view, choose your filter criteria, (for example by Project or Respondent, etc) and then click on the Search Icon.
- Click Export button to the right of the filters.
- Click Export to Excel and you will receive an email with a link to download your excel export.
